#035 | Rick Mulready, the Art of Paid Traffic, and Tips on Dramatically Improving Your Facebook Ad Campaigns

This week, he and Digital Marketing Strategist, Kimberly Juchnowski will discuss Facebook advertising for podcasters with Rick Mulready of The Art of Paid Traffic podcast.

Rick is completely on board with the idea of developing a lifestyle business. He got the entrepreneurial itch a few years ago when he realized he wanted the freedom to choose what the types of projects he was going to work on and what people he was going to work with. So he decided to create his own, freedom-based business by learning everything he could about Facebook ads. Rick started running advertising campaigns for businesses, wrote a “Beginner’s Guide to Facebook Ads”, and worked on developing his own system for using Facebook ads to generate leads and sales. By the end of 2012, he was ready to leave his day job and start his own business, focusing on Facebook and social media marketing. Rick used his years of testing and case studies to create a training program for entrepreneurs and online marketers that teaches them how to get results from today’s social media —especially Facebook. He shares his knowledge of topics like creating an ad campaign, protecting your intellectual property and developing a sales funnel every week on his podcast, The Art of Paid Traffic.

Although he’s no audio engineer, this is actually Rick’s second podcast. He learned the first time around that having a podcast was the best thing he could do for branding his business. His podcast put him on the map. With experience in both field, Rick is in a great position to discuss challenges and benefits of Facebook advertising for podcasters.

Like many a previous guest, when asked for a quote, Rick referred to the wise words of Mark Twain:
